The Light Duty Cleaner is responsible for recycling and trash removal and disposal for the office buildings at Bello Machre. This person is also responsible for replacing trashbags and washing out containers on a regular basis. This is a part-time position, Mondays from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm, Wednesdays 7:30 am-9:00 am, and Fridays 7:30 am-9:00 am or 1:30 pm-3:00 pm. (With approval, these hours are flexibile.) The Light Duty Cleaner may work up to 7 hours per week, not to exceed 8 hours per week, unless express approval by the direct supervisor is received.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Professional attitude and interactions are essential to the position

Responsibilities

• Removes office trash cans and combines with trash in each kitchen area, replacing trash bags if needed
• Disposes of kitchen trash and recycling separately in trash and recycling dumpsters
• Replaces trash bags in kitchen containers
• Washes out all office and kitchen trash and recycling cans every other month (weather permitting)
• Performs other duties as assigned
